Who We Are
Hi, my name is Cindy Gordon. I’m glad you’re here. Welcome. Undying Love is an end-of-life companion service to assist and support you through the challenging time of saying goodbye to your animal family member. Many people don’t realize the intense grief many of us feel, both anticipating the death and afterwards. End-of-life companions will get to know you, your family and your animal, consult and support your decision-making process, be there with you through the dying process, as well as the grief that comes afterwards. In addition, I can help you find ways that feel right to you to memorialize, honor and pay tribute to your loved one.
I have always had a strong pull towards animals and in 2014 my husband and I started Doolittle Farm Sanctuary, a home for animals who have been abandoned, abused or in need of a safe place to land. This has been a joyful experience and, also, we have said a loving goodbye to dogs, cats, goats, alpacas, pot-bellied pigs and even a bearded dragon. And there will be more of those goodbyes to come. I went through training to become an animal companion doula and I founded Undying Love because I feel called to support the profound animal-human bond in meaningful ways and help hold the under-appreciated grief and accompanying losses that go hand-in-hand with the heart-bursting love we have with animals.
One final note, there is no discrimination here at Undying Love. Whether your beloved animal family member is a dog, a rat, a pig, a horse or a snake, your wish to honor their life and the bond you had will be treated with respect and compassion.
